- The Greens are fighting for an immediate £44bn investment package, to create over a million new jobs in low-carbon industries within 2-3 years - jobs that will start building the 21st century infrastructure Britain needs, with public transport that works; with warm, cheap to run homes; with much lower energy costs for businesses.
- The Green Party's million-jobs recovery plan would bring over 4,000 jobs to Lewisham alone, in sectors including public transport, social care, housebuilding and green industries.
